My car is about only about 2 weeks old, but it's developed a nasty rattle. It seems to be coming from just beneath the little triangle in the lower back corner of the rear door windows. It's really bad & persistent on the pass. side, and ocassionally I notice it on the driver's side as well. Anyone have any ideas? I haven't called the dealer yet (going to call Monday), but I have minimal hopes they'll be helpful anyway.

my car developed a similar rattle after about a week (is four weeks old now). rattle does seem (to the driver) to be coming from the door area you mention but in my case is actually coming from inside the rear passenger seatbelt mechanism (countersunk into rear deck) - i had someone sit back there and investigate while i drove. haven't been able to fix it yet, though.

I'm still not 100% sure where mine is coming from; it DOES go away if I roll down the rear window and leave it down. That fact makes me think it's somewhere in the door.
