I went to www.alldata.com to see the recall info for A4s. Does anyone know the difference between 'General Recalls' and 'Service Bulletins'? Thanks,<p>BP

My understanding is; <br>A service bulletin is a notice to the dealer how to solve a particular problem when he finds it, i.e. "if you see this problem, here is the solution and the parts needed". <br>A Recall is a a notice to the customer to return to the dealership for a specific repair. The dealer is notified what to repair on this recall by separate communication.

...is that the owner is notified of a recall, but the TSB's you have to find out about here !!!!!
