Default Received and used the Eastwood Co. pinch weld jack adaptor today

Works very nicely. Fits right into my cheapass $16 harbor freight jack. There's no pin hole in the post to pass a locking pin through, that's my only complaint. I may just drill my own in thought.

Otherwise I just popped the plate out of my jack and dropped the adaptor in, works great. Very sturdy, all metal. Well worth the $20 IMO.

ht tp://www.eastwoodco.com/aspfiles/itemdy00.asp?UID=2002100409175731&T1=43042</a

Default Agreed, but I don't miss the locking pin hole. It hasn't hung up on the weld yet.

And with three A4s I change alot of tires and brake pads. :-)

Default Which habor freight jack do you have? the 2 1/4 ton shop jack?

i tried looking locally for one that would fit my jack. But they were too big to fit into my jack. Any chance we can get a better pic than what eastwood shows?

thanks,
jaime

Default this is my jack..

It was onsale in store when I got it. It works just fine for the A4 and is MUCH more compact than any other jack over 2 tons, which is why I got it. Limited space in my apartment.

Here's some pics of the piece. Even the larger coupler piece is solid metal.
