Default mid to highend seems better, but I really need to get it on the dyno or track to quantify

I'll do both soon and post the results.

Default Was there a noticeable difference with the pulley and fan kit?

Have you had it dynoed for a difference with these two mods?...I ask because these seem to be the two next mods on the list to free up some HP in terms of cost, for myself...

Default Truely it's hard to say because I did the FMIC at the same time...

really the FMIC shouldn't make a differnce on a dyno other than consistancy. The last run I did identified two problems with my car... a bad MAF (now replaced) and a misadjusted bypass valve (also now replaced with a solid Forge valve, thanks again to Stratmosphere!). With both of these problems the car put 173ish HP to the ground and 202 ft/lbs of torque, but the car wasn't pulling anywhere near normal. I'll be running it again soon with hopes of sending the full datalogs (dyno and vag-com) to GIAC for some fine-tuning.

If it were my money I'd do it again. If you plan other upgrades (turbo etc.) it may also be a great time to replace the thermostat and fan switch with 180 degree models to help keep the car cool.

Default Ooh!! Can't wait, my milltek is supposed to be here tomorrow (28th)!

Where you there for the install? Did it go without any problems? Does the europeanspeed faq on the exhaust installation pretty much outline it all? I have a 2001, do I need to buy downpipe bolts or will they be fine?

That is one DAMN nice a4 you got yourself there

Default Josh... Saw most of the install, went without a hitch...

I had recently replaced my Cat so the bolts were new. If I were you I'd buy a set (3), bolts and nuts just in case. Other than that I think you'll find it's a clean install!! You are so going to love it... By the way, if you ordered it on last Friday, I was there when you did Drop me a line if you have any questions etc...

car who was running APR version 1, Guess who?

Anyways, I will go to the dealership tomorrow and buy some bolts and nuts just incase. Hoping to put the exhaust on tomorrow.

I'll keep everybody updated and my impressions.

Yo CJ...how would you compare the loudness and tone to the APR? Is it much louder? Better sounding?

Default Defintely better sounding...more sporty, but only the slightest bit louder.

It has that grumble that we all look for..honestly I don't know how they got a 4 cylinder to sound that good! No joke...

Default I have the Forge/Milltek exhaust on my FWD A4 and I really enjoy it too!

Just wish it came with a downpipe I'm thinking of getting a 2.5" downpipe from ATP to complete it.
