Default So, what about going to a 9:1:1? Is that even that much difference compared to a 9:5:1........

if we are talking about piston speed?

Shouldn't the piston speeds already be slower at this elevation since I'm not making as much power?

Default Piston speed is dependent on the stroke/rpm only so it would be the same...

I don't have first hand experience building the 1.8T and I'd rather not speculate.
