Default Recommended fuse and holder for Basslink install?

I'm going to be starting a Basslink installation soon and wanted to check that I was getting the right type of fuse. I can get a 30 amp fuse for this holder, and it has 12 gauge wire. I don't think that's insufficient, but I wanted to check. And of course, crimp the ends of the fuse holder to my power lines from the battery and to the amp.

Actually, one other question on that note - if I'm running lines for the sub, should I keep those wires on seperate sides of the car? I remember reading that running power and signal lines on the same side could cause interference.

Thanks a bunch.

http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fnam e=CTLG%5F011%5F004%5F

Yup, I'm using a holder like that with a 25A fuse, IIRC.

Default for sound I just tapped to the rear speaker terminals

Not sure what you meant by running them down the same side.

Default I was going to run RCA from my head unit's output

It has a dedicated subwoofer output, and you can adjust the bass levels, cutoffs etc. within the head unit's software. And, a dedicated output has to be cleaner than a speaker-level output converted to line-level within the Basslink. So, I'd rather use that. But, I think it means I need to run the lines on opposite sides of the car. Just trying to see if I can avoid the hassle of pulling up two sides of the door trim.

I would think that if you get a shielded cable, you could run it on the same side.
