I've had my bumper nudged on the autobahn
For lounging around the left lane at only 225kph. Was driving my friend's 928S4 and was working my way up to about 260kph at his urging. Someone in a 512BB came flying by us (on the right) and was being followed by someone in something that looked like a tricked out 450SL. The 450 pulled up on my bumper, flashed the high beams, then nudged my bumper when I didn't get out of the way fast enough. He then blew by me. I tried to keep up, but he was obviously running some serious mods as he easily walked away from me after about 260-265kph. I guess they didn't like the Swiss plates. 8-)

Plain is fine
Even on the track, the plain rotors are going to work just as well. Outgassing from hot pads hasn't been a real problem in a generation and that's what slots/crossdrilling was designed to prevent.
