have any of you glued the bumper support to the bumper while NOT on the car? i've been driving around with my A4 front for about a week or two, finally got off the support from the S4 bumper and thought i'd just glue the support onto the bumper and then take it to the shop to have painted. the bumper support doesnt seem to sit perfectly flush with the reiger bumper, so i'm assuming i'll have to put some weights on it to make sure it all adheres. also, for where the long bolts that connect your bumper to your car go, did you have to drill holes in the reiger bumper in order to gain access to the holes?

Well I don't have a Reiger...but you will have to drill holes for the long bumper bolts. Also, if you glue it to the support while off the car, it might not all line up properly. Someone posted a pic yesterday of the Reiger bumper taped to the car...while the glue was setting. Good luck
