Default Related to my vacuum line question

so i'm hoping that instead of having to replace the maf sensor or anything else, i can replace my vacuum lines first and see if that stops the problem. i found them all and when my roommate steps on the gas, i can definately hear a release of air somewhere in one of the lines (dead center). i just can't place which one it is. a few of them have cracks in the mesh casing, but i cover them with my hands and the sound is still there. anyone have any ideas on how i can pinpoint which line it is? and the size of the replacement line i should get? i have 1/4" in my head for some reason.

thanks!

Default IIRC, 3mm inner diameter should be fine.

I got my trusty rubber vacuum lines at Pepboys. They are holding up quite well too.

Default Just replace all of them

It makes no sense leaving them in if the covering is already frayed. Don't forget there are a few bigger vac hoses, too...

Default If you have a V6, there was an LK recall which is related to vacuum lines

in the secondary air injection system. They will replace the green vacuum hose that runs right above the engine. I kept getting the DTC 16795 - Secondary Air Injection System, Incorrect Flow Detected 35-00 and had a dealer take care of it under the recall last week. I have had no problem since then.
