remote alarm wont work. I have to manually insert the key to unlock/lock/activate alarm.

remote alarm wont work. I have to manually insert the key to unlock/lock/activate alarm.
Its not the battery. Whats more likely..the key is just dead in general, or could it be a bad reciever in the car?

try reprogramming the remote... or hitting the unlock/lock button on it while opening the door manua
ly. It's wierd sometimes they just need to be reset. I'm presuming you are using a switchblade key style and not the old school laser cut key with the seperate remote
