Removing Air Bag steering wheel?

Removing Air Bag steering wheel?
Has anyone removed the stock airbag wheel from a 2001 A4/S4? Were you able to get rid of the check airbag light on the dash? What needs to be done?

you can't get rid of it...the light that is...it's just on...i've heard of a
way where you use a resistor for the steering wheel but you need to ohm out the steering wheel and that's something i def dont want to do...to much voltage and BAM! airbag in the face.
However a 4.7 ohm 1/2watt resistor for the seats seems to fool the system but don't know about the steering wheel though
