Default You need to disengage the clips

Usually they come out with a bit of tugging, but sometimes the clips are stubborn. There are 2 rigid prongs that grab the bumper on the outside (the edge farther away from the license plate). You want to pull on the other end of the grill (nearer to the license plate). If you have a really thin screwdriver or maybe a thin metal ruler, you can insert that between the "inner" part of the grill and the bumper to disengage the single clip that's approximately in the middle of the grill (again, on the side closer to the plate). That's for the driver's side. On the passenger side, there's a plastic tab on the inner edge that you can pull out with your fingers that flexes the clip enough that the grill will pop out. I don't know why they didn't just put one of those tabs on both grills.

Good luck.

Default yeah...I had to use a tape covered screwdriver

I could pull the grill out far enough to wedge the screwdriver between the bumper and the grill on the licence plate side and then it just popped off like nothing
