Default Reoccuring Control Arm issue

Is it possible for my control arm that was just replaced about 5,000 miles ago to be defective already? I am getting that dreadful clunking noise coming from the front right of my suspension!! Car just finished its AoA warranty also what luck

Default get a complete kit of 8 arms

they are 400 something for the kit... best to do em all at once... that way you get it all sorted out.

none of my arms are original, not even my rear control arms are original... they've been replaced too.

skill level hardest job i have done on my car up to now would probably be installing my short shifter

Default um this is a few steps harder than that

you need to disassemble all of the front suspension.

You should get a couple of experienced AW'ers to help you in this process.... find out who is near you and make offerings of courage juice & pizza for all. I assure you it will be much less costly than a visit to the dealership.... also its a good time to do suspension upgrades.

Default um yeah its time for you Belt bomb to be changed too

the tensioner in the 1.8T is a grenade just waiting to blow up without any provocation and with catastrophic resuslts.... like your intake valves getting their seats re-adjusted by the pistons.

Default Me!

I'd be willing. I've done my own suspension, t-belt, waterpump, etc. I have all the tools required. Email me if interested.
