Does Bentley make a repair manual for the A4? I have one for my Passat and it's awesome. You should definitely get a Bentley if it's available. They in in CD-ROM form as well, but mine is a 3" thick paperback.

I think you can get Bentley Manuals from online bookstores like amazon.com for about 60 bucks..........worht a look. I got mine for my Passat (covers the 1.8T, 2.8 and W8) for 60 bucks off the 'net as opposed to $100 at the dealer.

I have the Chilton and the Bently, and the Chilton doesn't explain nearly as much as the Bently does. the Bently manual had averything you ever wanted and didn't want to know about you car. (assuming you have done some work on cars)you can get the bently for like 80 or so shipped. here is where I got mine. the ones in paper are more expensive, but more handy I think. Shop around.

bently manuals

I have the paper and it's good but the CD has much more diagnostic information in it and has all of the DTC codes listed, unlike the paper. Chilton and haynes are a waste of time unless you allready have the Bentley and just want a second opionion, albeit a less qualified one.
