The engine prices are high enough, then they throw on an additional "Other Parts + tax" at $3,500? What constitutes "Other Parts"?
I mean, are you only getting an engine block for your $8,300 on a new engine?
I would ask for the $10K and run from these deals as fast as you can. Find a good used motor and have an independent shop install it.
