Default replaced alternator + battery... my voltage is sitting around 11.5

battery light is still on

i'm guessing break in a wire?

or should I charge the car up to 14v and see if that fixes anything? I just want the battery light gone

Default a comment....

You might see what the volts are on the battery(stand alone). If the battery checks out as relatively OK, then check for a draw. You might re-check the wiring and connections. Sounds like its running on the battery power alone.
Hope you have heat in that garage, temp seemed to really drop out there today(snow level on the passes 3000ft).

Default Na, look at my faq post. The same thing happened to me when i put my motor in.

check the resistance on the wire. either that or you dont have power to your voltage regulator.

Default i'll check it tonight. I left the car with a charger on it.. i'll see if the battery light is still

on when i get home
if not yay!

if so

yeah it's a ground issue
i'm thinking about it a bit more

and yep it definitely is

i Think it might be one of the wires down by the starter...

fvck me!
