Replaced MAF with new defective MAF, so what next?

Bosch MAFs, so much for this "great" m*f* part.
I've spent weeks trying to figure out whether it was wiring, or N-75, or vacuum pipes that persisted in throwint code 16487. To my amazement, when I replaced MAF with new part, then I got 16486.
Fortunately the third MAF has solved that.
I also had to replace my faulty Bosch ABS control module only a couple of months ago, and it had ever had to do any work at all.
I think it would not be asking a lot to have Bosch give a warranty on these very well documented faulty parts for the life of the car.
My local parts supplier has confessed to me that the production costs for a new MAF were 10 cents to Bosch...
