I've noticed a pretty slow coolant leak from below the engine and finally tracked it down to the electric fan control sensor on the hose leading to the passenger side of the radio.
Guessing the o-ring has crapped out, which is fine and all, but I'm pretty sure replacing will require me to drain the coolant. Anybody have any experience with this and can advise of other options in this respect?

It's not hard, but doing that is more involved than say replacing the temp sensor on the top/back of the engine, and being in an apartment always complicates my maintenance activities.
Sensor I'm talking about is on the lower hose that connects to the bottom passenger side of the radiator. Bentley calls it exactly what I did; "coolant fan control."

Figured the remove/install would be pretty easy from when I did the t-belt...but the real question I had was whether or not I need to plan on draining the radiator, or it there was another way around the problem.
That (emptying radiator) would make the project a little more complicated and messy.
