btw, if you replace the bose amp with another you'll need to replace the speakers also. The Bose speakers are 2 ohm and will likely cause a regular amp to overheat. Also, if you plan on keeping the stock h/u, make sure you recode it to non-bose settings or it will sound like crap. The bose setting adds equilization to each channel designed specifically for the bose amp and speakers.
