A4 Invested mentioned to me about changing that line "To replace, fold down rear seat, take off black circular cover, covering the fuel pump, and you can disconnect the line there. I think I was able to get the line out from pulling it from the bottom gently and carefully, if not, try taking out through the top. Install the new line from inside the rear of the car at the fuel pump - I think. I can't remember, but take your time and go slow, don't force it or else you will prob need a new line again. Didn't replace the small end myself, but should be easier."
my question is can i drop the fuel tank to change that line? because i cant get to the 3rd screw of the cover (to the fuel pump) because my sub box covers it and i have no idea how to remove the box since its all screwed down.

Wouldn't it be easier just to replace the kinked parts with double-clamped rubber fuel line?
Sorry, can't help with the fuel line install. Replacing that hard line is a bitch even for experienced mechanics.

If not, do not do anything until you have that wrench.
yes, you can drop the tank, but be very careful.. all of those lines are meant to be disconnected from up top.
Can I go off on a rant now about how ricer stuff messes up cars? ( Sub box in this case....)
