and i would also drop in an N75-J. I already have a 710N installed--would that handle the higher pressures of a k04+N75J?

Without being a victim of a failed wastegate, I'm not sure.

Go for it. I ran my K04 w/ APR software for a long while. Ran great, but GIAC would be better.

I logged mine often-- 02 voltages were always fine, no knock counts or timing retard. Fine, IMO.

in weighing my options at this point, i think i might instead buy a new K03 sport turbo. I'd expect very little gain over the 150hp K03 I have now but I'm not thrilled about shelling out $1500+ for the k04 plus new ecu+chip.. and then who knows what in case i run into problems. my primary goal is to get rid of my rattling wastegate and I think a nearly-original part is the safest and cheapest route.

i have no doubts that the k03 sport will get along fine with my APR 93 program but does anyone know a good place to buy K03 Sport?

thanks for all your help. hopefully not too far in the future I'll have finances to K04 it and then some.

if you're looking to go K04 in the future-- you're wasting your money doing a K03 now.
