I want to replace the driver's seat on my '97 A4 since the "leatherette" is cracked and the heated seat element appears to be shot. It is fully manual. Can I swap the upholstered part of a passenger seat onto a driver's seat base? I figure that it will be easier to find a good quality used passenger seat than the driver's side. Are all seats from 1996 through 2001 interchangeable? Thanks for your help.
