Default Are you planning on upgrading your turbo? Thats a lot of clutch for what you have.

I believe I have a stage 3 HD. I didn't want a heavy pedal. I am near the limits of the clutch with my stage 3 but it does fine.

Default yeah... the least i'll do will be...

a k04 Giac hammer-file and most would be anything with less than 450lbs torque I'm also confident the clutch will run whatever I throw at it. The last thing I want is to have to re-do it b/c it's not strong enough!

Default That is what I have, except I have the UR flywheel

Clutch engagement was lower than stock and pedal was a little stiffer. It takes practice for a smooth clutch engagement. With a LW Flywheel it needs alittle more gas to be smooth. I did a 1k mile break in just to be sure, but I have a GT28RS.

Default mine does that chatter/skipping thing out of 1st as well. just put it in on sunday, tho, along with

Unorthodox Racing flywheel.

It is a slightly used setup from n0yxl

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2684818.phtml</a

Default anything to keep in mind during break in?...

how aggressive should I be driving the car in break in? I really have not started but, I take it just slow starts in 1st gear.

Default LW flywheel

Pros: quicker acceleration
Cons: RPM quick drop, harder to drive in reverse

Default Low load

I try to keep the rpms at 3K or lower and did not launch the car. Very painful to do when your turbo spools at 3K. I was a snail for a while

Default RPMs don't seem to drop too quickly. not much different than stock, but on the way up is quicker

but, it's only been 2 days
