Default n00b Q time: what is the major benefit to upgrading to the S4 one?
Is it that much of a diff?

Default What's the story with those nubs you ground off?
They don't get in the way with the A4 cooler, but they prevent installation of the S4 cooler?

yup...they clock the stock cooler, but interfere with the S4 one...

Default replace the lines too...they get streched out..and dont seal
the install is pretty much plug and play, except for the grinding.

Default not much of a difference..so far..
ive noticed oil temps dont go above 200F boosting at highway speeds, like they used to.

the believed benefit is to lower high oil temps caused by chipping or in my case, a k04.

Default im still burning through my ten-pack of stock mann filters...
then'll ill be buying a 10pack of the larger stock filter..

or, the super huge mann 950/4 - purolator L40316:
