Retrofit Xenon headlights
Can you retrofit an '01 A4 1.8T Quattro with xenon headlights? And if so how difficult is it? I am fed up with the poor quality stock halogen lights. Thanks.

I will be doing it on my car, 2001. You should seach some of these guys will flame you.....
if your in the CT area when I do it we should do a it at once, collaborate tools. I have to see when my buddy that knows how to do it will be around.

Yes. Very easy.
All you need is an H7 Xenon kit which usually includes ballast, bulbs, and wiring. You can either set the Ballast up top somewhere or you can dremel away the bottom of the housing to make the OEM Ballast space bigger to accomodate the aftermarket ballast. There is a FAQ on the Tech registry. Do a search. Did it on my old 2001.5. Took about 2 hrs to do it properly.
