excuse the ignorance, but I find this fascinating. Where do I find internic? Or what is it? How do ya'll find an ip address for people who've posted? I've always wondered about that. I've figured out how to get my own, and I've done PING -a and found a list of commands.<br>TIA

You can use nslookup to find DNS information (usually available in most unix, I think it's in Win NT too)

The internic is at www.internic.net - they register any address on the internet (non profit org). List of ping comands can be obtained from doing a ping /? at the dos prompt and there are a lot of other utilities .... its a hackers world and I can go on and on...
