Default Riddle me this- Audi like 'audio' or Audi the ' owdy' ?

Some clown I know insists that it is pronounced Audi like in 'audio' but I always say Audi like 'owdy' almost like howdy

the correct way to pronounce it is ow-dee.

Apparently the African word jaguar comes from is similiar to how we say it here and not how the Brits bastardize it (even on the commercials).
