Ride height question. Is it normal to have slight variance (1/4") from right to left side? (more).

My fender to ground measurement is about 1/4" higher on the drivers side than the passenger side. Since I am having new spring perch grooves cut in my Koni shocks to lower the front overall, I might as well correct for the offset and just have them cut the drivers side 1/4" lower.
I just wondered if anyone else noticed a slight variance in their ride height. Not that you can notice it by looking at the car from the front. It doesn't look lobsided or anything. It's just barely noticeable when you look at each fender gap from the side, and when you measure.

I ask because when I first got my suspension I was looking at the car on my driveway and noticed that one side was lower than the other (bigger gap). I freaked out for a few minutes before I realized that my driveway was not level, the suspension was more sprung on one side to compensate for weight distribution. The car was fine when I put it on the street.

I took off the front Koni's to have them machined anyway cuz my Koni/Intrax suspension kit did not lower the front of my car any lower than my OEM stock sport suspension... so my car looks like it has a load of bricks in the trunk! Anyway, I had the shop take the fronts off so I could have a machine shop cut lower grooves (like the Bilstiens have) so I can set the front to where it should be. Anyway, since I am having them cut grooves, I figure why not just have them cut in a manner that would compensate for the extra 1/4" difference from one side to the other?

Height difference from one side to the other (just in the front : 5mm). How does it affect handling?
