I got from Greedspeed the front shocks number : B36-2079. On Autobahn page, the B36-2079 is listed as the Bilstein HD shocks and B36-2081 as the sport shocks. My rear shocks is the right one for the quattro, but I guess I got the wrong one for the front?

My invoice reads....
QUANTITY ITEM DESCRIPTION UNIT PRC EXT PRC
2.00 b36.2081 A4/A6 Passat 115.00 230.00
front shock
2.00 b2669 rear A4 Q 140.00 280.00
Looks like they sent you the wrong ones. Mines a 2.8 Quattro. Give them a call I'm sure they'll be helpful 805-376-9277

I had a similar experience with Greedspeed a year and a half ago. They told me they had sent the HD version since the Sports were back ordered at the time.
The valving on the HD version is the same as the Sport shocks. The only difference is that the rod is 20mm longer (or conversely, the sport version is made 20mm shorter). The Bilstein tech I called assured me that this wouldn't be a problem as long as I didn't lower the car more than 2 inches.
I've used both Neuspeed sport and H&R sport springs with my Bilsteins for about 33K miles with no problems. (I switched to the H&Rs 'cause some of the roads I drive are still in pretty rough shape after our El Niņo winter two years ago.)
Not sure if there are any real-world performance differences between the two setups. I've ridden in an A4 with H&Rs and sport Bilsteins and didn't detect anything.
