I took my car to get realigned and they set the right rear tire couldn't hold a camber. They said the ladder arm was bad. Called the dealership and they had not a clue what I was talking about. Told them it wouldn't hold a camber and they believe its the tie rod.
Got two questions.
Is the tie rod on the lower part of the car?
Does this require any special tools to remove? I am asuming it just bolts to the frame and then is bolted on somewhere in the wheel assembly.
If you know what part I am talking about exactly and know of place where I can get them new. Please post a link.

I think you're getting some bumb advice or something. First, tie rod ends are on the front only. Second, the camber is adjusted at the bottom of the hub carrier with an ecentric bolt. There is trailing arm on the rear of the Quattro B5 that adjusts the toe-in. That might be a "ladder arm"....

You can find them at a junk yard. I had to replace both of mine on the rear back in 06 when the ended up getting totalled while on a trailer. You might be able to find them on www.car-parts.com or even call a Audi used parts company that end up parting out totalled cars.
