Hello, I'm kind of new here so sorry if this is an easy one. I just made the switch from my VW to an 1998 2.3 quatro. It had a short in the taillight that I found out about once I got it home, and after a week I got that figured out. But now, when I turn my taillights on the turn signal on the right hand side does not owrk at all... nothing in the dash or anything. Also something odd I have found it that now when I turn the tail lights on the turn signal in the tail light stays on as if it was a tail light itself. I have searched around but I have found a few things that I feel it could be (hazard switch relay, turn signal switch contacts etc...)Has anyone experienced this problem and know exactly what it would be? Thanks in advance!

Something else I found while driving last night. When it is dark the right arrow for the turn signal in the dash is lit constantly when the taillights are on as well. Its dim, but noticeable. The turn signals were working fine before but while searching for the short in the wires earlier I am afraid I messed something up, which makes me think it may be a relay. I had purchased a short circuit finder from jcwhittney and before I used it all turn signals worked fine, after I used it the turn signal acted funny.
