Default Rim Cleaners

Well before I put tires on the rims I want to clean them up. One of the rims have brake dust markings that seemed to have seeped out of the lug nut holes and stained the finish. The inside of the rim also has lots of dirt and grime, I think oxidation. I was just wondering if you guys had any recommendations and/or methods that could get these rims looking like new! Thanks.

Default I've heard of folks using p-21s or Kaboom! bathroom cleaner to clean grimy wheels

Kaboom! can be found at Target, Wal-Mart, grocery store..etc.

P-21s is harder to find, but is suppossed to work well. try google searching for p-21s

Default Soap and water

You don't really want to use anything stronger on a nice set of wheels.

Put some wax on them to make them easier to clean for the next time

Default Do it often enough and soap and water is all you need without risking damage.

I do mine every weekend and its very easy.

Default I hate trying to clean these rims. -the 10 spoke sport rims

To be sure, my nxet set will be a five soke design with plenty or room to manuver a brush around, between , and behind the spokes.
