It's bound to happen at some point....the dreaded rock to the windshield. Luckily, it hasn't started cracking. This one look like a good candidate to get "repaired" or filled or whatever they do? Just figured I'd share....oh BTW...I got two of those free windshield care kit forms from the dealer today....so you know the drill. First two replies I see with "FREE KIT" as the subject.....and I'll slap your address on the form. Ready...GO!! :-)

Last time I went in for service, they saw the little rock windshield incident I had and they told me it'd cost $75 to fix. So..$75 poorer I am, but the chip is gone.

Or else its $25.00 dollars or something like that. They would rather fix a rock chip than replace the whole window at $600 a pop.
Allstate and state farm do this anyway. They did mine on my truck.
