In looking around and all, I think it may be a 760 not a 740.... like I care. LOL.
Didn't really look at the badges on the trunk. Just checked the lights, drove it and made sure my feet didn't hit the ground through the floor.

This thing is SOOOO easy to get at everything! And it just had a timing belt job! :) It's a VW motor
It's a VW 5 cyl TDI engine in it.... so in a way this whole post is ON TOPIC!

The first Volvo car I worked on was a 244 with leaky injector hoses
My nephew stopped in Ohio on the way from NC to Colorado so I could help him repair some stuff. I had to replace fuel lines and tune it up ,it was simple . Much better than the 1st Volvo I EVER worked on which was twin 4cyl gas Volvo-Penta engines in a 24 ft Wellcraft with OMC sterndrives . The job on that was rebuilding the 4 Strombergs, new v-belts and replacing the bilge pump, not your typical Volvo. What years did they source VW diesels?
