I think It may be a coilpack..... Any other ideas? Also If it is a coilpack should I replace them all and be safe or just 1. I vaged it and 2 codes came up...they were random/multiple misfires....and cylinder 1 misfire.
Any advice.....?
TIA

and get the code, example, say random misfire cyl 1, clear the codes then switch the coil pack to a different cyl, if it jumps, say you switch it to cyl 4, and you get random misfire cyl 4, you know its a coil pack.

start her up, step on the gas, then read the codes.
If there's a misfire on cyl 2, it's the cp.

from the front of the car 1 2 3 4.
while the car is running, you can unplug the coilpack, and see if there is a change in idle. then unplug coilpack, swap, do the same again.
1999.5 = bad POS, i had the same problem couple of weeks ago. CPs usually fail on 2000+, on pre-2000 it's the POS/ICU/whatever

still misfiring cylinder 1......What/where is the ICU/POS? How do I know if need to change that? Or should I just change it and hope it fixes the problem? Also anyone have an idea how much it costs? is it easy to get to? can I do it myself? Thanks.

do a search if you need pictures. There are 2 parts, one made by Bosch and one made by some other company. The Bosch one is like 300 and the other is 150-200 They both work identically so get the cheaper one.
The install takes all of 2 seconds, the part sits right ontop of your airbox, just unclip the 2 harnesses, and unscrew the two screws .
