RPM hunting
Just had the 30K service (I guess the main thing is new sparks).
Now, when I put the car in neutral (from any gear), rpm drops
to about normal idle (650 or so), goes up a little, maybe past
750, drops to just below 500 (engine shudders ever so slightly),
then finds 650 again. If I leave it in neutral (clutch in or out)
it might repeat this behaviour every 5-10 seconds or so.
The car is perfect while driving, no odd behaviour what so ever.
They changed the oil also, but I have had this (mobil1 synth) before
(not positive of the weight, but it was what I had this time last year).
what could cause this? I have heard that having a pes sc installed can
do it, but I don't feel the extra 150 hp! 8-)
