RS4 Grille on CL - question
I came across this RS4 grille on Craigslist, and figured this is the same thing that's $70 shipped on Clairparts.

I offered $55, but I received this reply:
I appreciate the offer, but I paid close to $200 for it! I really need $120 and that's a steal. This part is very hard to come by since you can't just walk into any dealer and buy it... It has to be ordered from a dealer in Europe since the B5 RS4 was never sold in the states. And it takes weeks for it to arrive.
How is this grille different from the ones you can get on Clairparts, ECS, etc, for <$100?

There's nothing different about it. Maybe back in ~2000 it was an issue, but not now.

He has it posted in the KC craigslist as well as posting it all over audiworld every other day.
