<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/RS4_Grill.jpg"></center><p>For those who are unaware, I have found a supplier that has a limited quantity of RS4 grills available, and I have organized a group buy for these. These grills can be seen in the links attached (thx JCJiffy!), or the attached picture on Ulrik's car in Sweden (thx Ulrik!). What may not be apparent is that the hex mesh is all plastic (as is the rest of the grill. The outside trim is painted a satin silver color, the Audi rings are chrome, and the venetian blind pattern inside the rings remains.

Installation is a snap. There are 8 clips (6 on top, 2 on the sides) on the backside of the grill. Start releasing clips from one side, and push the grill out each time you release a clip. The new grill snaps in place perfectly.

Before I get to the ordering instructions, let's get through the disclaimers. If either of the items below rubs you the wrong way, please don't order.
1. You are trusting 3 parties with you payment. Your local coordinator, me, and our supplier in Germany (Andreas). I have ordered one grill, and everything went smoothly. Andreas was prompt and delivered as promised. There is a catch. I am depositing the money in a US bank (PNC Bank) account that is NOT in Andreas' name. They have a branch near my office which makes it very easy for me.
2. Andreas has already indicated that he has a limited supply on hand (2 dozen), and a few trickle in every week. These will be heavily backordered based on the response I have seen on the A4 forum and at the NE Audi Event where I showed off the grill I have.

Cost: $72 shipped to your door (includes all import fees, and shipping via a carrier convenient for your local coordinator).

Payment: All orders must be prepaid. The volunteers coordinating this group buy will not put up money to secure an order for you. All payments must be made via www.paypal.com ONLY (no checks, money orders, or goats please). Paypal will allow you to transfer money from your bank account or use your credit card (I think). Please use your local coordinators e-mail address provided below for transferring $. If you do not have a paypal account, you will need to set one up (free). Kindly mention your coordinator (type in their e-mail address) as the person who referred you. Yes, they get $5 for the referral...think of it as a thank you for their time spent organizing this.

Deadline: Wednesday, August 16th. No orders will be taken after this date!!!!! No exceptions!

Delivery: As mentioned earlier, these will be backordered. The very lucky who get the first batch will receive them in mid-September. I can make no promises about the rest of the shipments. If you are not a patient person, then don't order. I have been quoted over $100 per grill without shipping charges to the US. I can not set up a first come first serve system with these, so whoever gets them first and last will be somewhat random. The grills will be shipped in large batches to your local coordinators who will break up the shipments and ship them out individually to you. I will do my best to limit payments made to Andreas for stock he has "on-hand" only.

In the event that your order needs to be cancelled, we will contact you to refund your money less costs associated for purchasing packaging materials. Each coordinator will be puchasing those materials when the order is placed so that they may ship out your grill as soon as it arrives. These packaging materials should be less than $5 per order.

What I meant to say is that "In the event that WE need to cancel your order"...as in "we can no longer obtain the grills and your order was not filled".

Once you place the order, you can not cancel. It will be too difficult for us to constantly monitor everybody as they change their minds, so YOU CAN'T change your mind.

You mentioned that the grill is all plastic. Is that normal or did you say that because the other grills sold in the US are not plastic? Is there some quality concern since they are plastic?

How will the grill be shipped to the end buyer (me)? I have to give a different address depending on if it is UPS or USPS.

The grill appears to be 100% Audi. The plastic is a heavy guage plastic unlike some other grills I saw at the NE event this weekend. Even the standard grill that comes with your car contains no metal...the rings are chrome, but they are a plastic chrome. People at the show seemed to like them a lot. I had people trying to hand me money on the spot for pre-orders, which I wasn't ready to do. Their comments were mostly that looks nicer in person than the pictures suggest (I guess it's always easier to judge when you can see it with your own two eyes).

As far as shipping, please include both addresses with your order since your coordinator may not yet know which method of shipping is most convenient for them. Just ask them to let you know which address they will be using when they know.
