rs4 replica
does anyone know the difference between the oem and replica wheels? i have an audi a4 1.8 quattro 2003 i was wondering what size tires to put on and whether or not i should buy replica rs4 rims

replicas are stronger, and don't bend (as easily), and cost 1/4 of the price.
Probably less than that. Pick up some good replicas at achtuning.com.
I say "as easily" because the OEM ones bend like melted butter.

oem RS4 wheels have the wrong offset for the B5 A4/S4...*edit*
...and like kenny said they are extremely easy to bend.
I bought a set of 18" RS4 replicas from Achtuning. I know Audiworlder "Andy_TN" bought his RS4 replicas from another company and liked his as well. I did end up bending one of them slightly (as would have any 18" wheel with the bump I apparently hit). Luckily, I had a matching 5th wheel I purchased for this exact reason.
You can look in my picture poster for pics of them, or I could post a pic if you don't know how to view them.
Achtunings Replicas give the choice of "authentic" center caps (from the '01.5 A4 Sport Wheels), or "replica" center caps. Achtunings wheels have the correct offset (ET 35) to fit perfectly in the B5 A4/S4 wheel wells. I know most of the other companies that sell them have the cheesy looking chrome lipped center caps. Some of them don't even have the rings printed on the caps :-/

Pic of RS4 Replicas on my old A4...
If you look closely, you can see the center caps are oem Audi center caps. All the other pics in my pic poster of the RS4 replica wheels are with "replica" center caps & chrome lips, which I did not want. I ended up getting the oem center caps later on. Afaik, Actuning sells both the replica caps and the oem center caps for a little more $$.
