Default Even with the reservoir filled, the total weight (with new battery)will still be about half of the

weight of the OEM one he has.
I didn't want to have to make the reservoir but couldn't find anything that fit my needs. We removed the OEM washer tank because it block a large portion of the backside of the IC.
But as I did make it, I baffled it to reduce slosh and gave it a capacity to last. Installed a float switch that will cut off the pumps and light up the low fluid light on the dash and made it so it can be held in place by the OEM hold down.

SWEET! can the tank hold alcohol? or will that degrade any seals?

Default He was going to remove the battery anyway, this just was a available space. Figure the total weight

of the OEM tank full plus the OEM battery vs. the new reservoir and the new battery,it's a win win situation. Also consider the OEM reservoir was in front of the axle which is place you want to reduce weight. But this is silly the amount of weight is too small to argue about.

Of course. No seals. I made it out of 1/4 ABS and the seams are solvent welded.

Default He will run a mix. It will be washer fluid which is perfectly suitable for the task.

Esp. that 100 proof Audi concoction. ;-)
