and the tank : (

fvcking solid sharp curbs here at UConn.

the officer told me that he could have ticketed me for illegal tint, license plate cover, and improper backing but let me off because this will cost me enough. Apparently I am the first one to do this on the UConn campus as far as the fire captain knew of. Great part is that I just put $25 of gas in the thing... down the drain sad enough (federal water people have to do tests or something the fire captain said).

the flatbed took it to Hoffman Audi in East Hartford and I will be calling them at 7:30am to see what the deal is. I would have had it taken to Tony's imported auto in manchester (scheduled timing belt there tomorrow- canceled now : ( ) but was unsure if they dealt with the gas tank or not.

anyone know the price for fixing this mess I got myself into?

Default definatly no flame!!!

I was doing a K turn in a small drop off spot outside a dorm dropping someone off and I backed over the curb...

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/56546/dsc03276.jpg"> you can see how the curb lowers for wheel chair access and what not, I managed to go right onto that...

causing the sharp granite or whatever they are curb to nick the tank at maybe 2 mph. I thought I may have bumped into something w/ the tire or bumper... but no- got out and saw the leak. turned the car off and called the fire dept... this sux
