Are the S4 door molding pieces taped on the doors or are there clips that hold them on?

Are the guides part of the molding itself or is it a separate piece that attaches to the molding?

part of the molding, just nubs sticking off the back

The doors have pins made to 'em. Nylon guides fit onto those pins.A metal bracket slides onto the guides and is held inplace by a screw at the front of the door.The Painted part of the molding attaches to the metal brackets. No double sided tape.The door sills use double sided tape.

That assumes that the euros were different,which I doubt . You must have been thinking of something else,which is understandable. Probably suffering from eye strain,from all that winking today.
