S4 ride height vs. A4 sport package question...

it's just 20mm lower... not 20mm lower on top of the Sport pkg.
I wonder what brand of shocks they will be using? I hope it's not going to be those awful (compare to Bilstein or Koni) Boge (OEM) again.
If Audi does it right the first time (S4 or otherwise), then we don't have to do it again.

In other words, my hand. I measured 4.5 fingers in front, and 3.5 fingers in the rear on the new
S4. Haven't done that on an A4 sport, I'll have to find one soon.....
It didn't appear to be any lower then the A4 sport, in fact, it almost looked a hair higher (I hope
not).

We already have digressive shocks. Most modern shocks are digressive: it just means it reacts non-linearly to bump speed (doesn't rise as fast). Firm when cornering, relatively softer in high frequency bumps.
We also have a degree of blowoff. Hit a bump hard and it releases pressure, instead of resisting the bump. This is what you see the race cars doing. It is also why the v6 bottoms out so easily.
