Default So you DO need the door molding clips?

Right now that's all that's left on my car waiting for the S4 sides..I should leave them on then?

regards,
Liam

Default Goof off

is what I used. It just happened to be what I picked up. It seems to work pretty well, but the fumes are killer. The key seems to be to let it soak in for a while, scrub what you can off, and just keep repeating until it all wipes off.

How will that work with no door moldings? Will it seal up right? What about wind noise, and rain? Just wandering...

Anything new??

Default Yes....

The S4 molding backers slide onto the same clips. If yours are still good, reuse them.

Default Hahahaha.....

I was totally expecting some sort of flame when I clicked on your reply!!

Thanks for the advise. Noone has done this yet have they? I'm gonna have to deal with the damn paint not matching before I decide on covering them somehow.

Any chance you could snap a pic or two of the effected area?

Thanks,
Chad

Default Good point..

I thought about that before but not to an extent. I may have to sort of 'improvise' and leave the doorsills. It's now dawning on me that they actually are funtional; all of those rivets just might be necessary..lol
