S4 vented wheel liner and for what is the foam under the air box?
Replaced original 01' A4 wheel liner with the S4 on the passanger side. Some of the liner vents are directly below the air box, so I think it should keep the box itself cooler by allowing trapped hot air to come out via the vents or allow cool air under the air box via the vents. Maybe keeping box cooler? Anyone knows how the air will flow in this area of the engine compartment with these vents. Again, what is that foam under the box for? To keep hot air away from the box? How? Thanks for the info!
