I was nearing a traffic light at a two lane road, but there was a lot of congestion on the left lane so I did what I normally do. I pulled up on the right-which is more of a right turn lane with no arrow-with my music blasting loud. The road up ahead divides into one lane (about 50 ft from the stoplight) which gradually breaks off(on my side). There was a new 2dr Ford Explorer Sport next to me but I didn't give it a second look. The light went red and we both floored it. His engine was roaring next to my rear quaterpanel. Unfortunately, my lane was breaking off soon so I had to lay off even though I had half a car length on him. The situation was getting dangerousI knew that he was not gonna lay off and felt like if i didn't his monstrous truck was gonna hit me. I had to do it. I just thought i'd share.

If we would have gone 0-100 (which was not possible on this city street) I know I would pull at least 3 car lengths on him with the stock a4. Aside from the 1\2 car length I had on him, we were pulling evenly till the road broke off.
