safe mode radio / location of code?

safe mode radio / location of code?
bought the car in september. replaced battery today. now stereo in safe mode. no radio card in manual. if the code is in the spare tire area.. where? there's a sticker with a LOT of information.. any feedback? thanks!

i think im SOL... can't find that. read the manual for the radio.. "should you lose the Radio Card with the code number, please contact an Audi retailer"
have to wait til tomorrow eh?

in theory.. yes.. it should be there
but it says "please detach the RADIO CARD and keep it in a safe place AWAY from your vehicle"
previous owner.. very good at following directions.. so the RADIO CARD isn't there...
