Default Samsung X497 Handsfree Setup

Well, I've been searching through the archives and on google for how to integrate my SamSung X497 phone with the 2001 A4 built in handsfree phone setup but I am not having any luck with the FAQs or my searches. Is this possible to do? Can someone help or point me in the right direction?

Default is bluetooth on phone turned on? once it is. put car in search mode and phone in search mode. ->

password should be 0000 or 1234 usually the car will tell you what password is.

The phone is not a blue tooth phone and neither is the car. I was wondering if there was an adapter that I can use with the phone and the jack in my armrest so that I can use the installed mic and speakers with my phone handsfree...

You can add an aftermarket Bluetooth kit to the car but you will need a Bluetooth phone

Default what he said... and someone correct me if i'm wrong BUT>

I cant recall someone using a kit and wiring it up to the mic and speakers already in the car...

I think they used the mic with the kit and the speaker with the kit (moto kit for example)

If there is a kit/way to do it with whats already installed/not being used and you find out let me know! I'd install that kit in a second!

OR...if you do some research and find a kit (and arent great with DIY stuff) lemme know what kit/who told you and i'll install in mine and do a write up step by step with pic for ya.

Bluetooth in the car is one thing that i could really... really use

Yes, and PHONE shows on the radio. It uses the OE speakers as well.
