Default I am in the same boat...decided on GTRS eliminator w/ unitronics software (more inside)

a bit off topic, but where and how much did you get the teins for? How do you like them?

Default Considering you are DBW, i would do APR S3 or GTRS w/ unitronics if youd like to go that route.

APR is proven, reliable, quality parts.

Unitronic/GTRS(GT2871r) is very new. Works just fine for some people, while others are still having minor problems. GTRS/GT2871r is faster than APR S3.

BTW, i wouldnt plan on S3+ quite yet if you were going to ask about it. APR does not have software released yet for the 01's and wont untill they get a guniea pig.

Default No, I am piecing it together myself...

So far I have the VR6 maf housing, Bosch 42lb injectors, 3-bar FPR, MBC, and ATP exhaust manifold. Still need to buy the tantrumwerks HFC, neuspeed intake, GTRS hardware kit, and of course the software.

Default because this isn't about the most talked about topic... SEARCH!

K04 isn't worth the $$ if you're looking for a big power upgrade and will be paying full pop for the setup.

if you can find a used setup like i did, it's a great deal...

i'd say go GTRS Elim + unitronics for best hp/$

Default ya i have searched, just wanted human response....how do you like your k04 set up?...

the thing is my car is my daily driver, and i know going GTRS or above might not make the car either reliable or easy to drive .... i say this because my car is a FWD and its going to be hard to put all that power to the ground ... unless these eliminator kits like to spool up after 3 grand, then i should be ok =)
