Default Didn't compete...but I have seen it as well
When I use to live in Vail...I went by there all the time on the way to Denver. I even ran by it in the "Georgetown to Idaho Springs - Half Marathon". Man moons ago.

Sure did look fun.

Default The Georgetown event fills up fast...
There's also ice-cross (that's what I call it) up at Rainbow Lake near Pikes Peak. I haven't made it to any events, but I might go next year (at least to watch).
